Swami Vivekananda said “ALL THE WEALTH OF THE WORLD CANNOT HELP ONE LITTLE INDIAN VILLAGE, IF THE PEOPLE ARE NOT TAUGHT TO HELP THEMSELVES”. Our work should be mainly education, both moral and intellectual. We need practical education, not just theory oriented. Further, we need to have one single education pattern for all states. This shall solve all present-day problems. Different state follows different systems. Let us have only single system or common format.
The Blind Boys’ Academy tirelessly strives to provide holistic services for the emancipation of the persons with visual impairment (divyangjan) in a comprehensive manner. For its outstanding performance in this filed, it has been recognised as the best institution in the country by the President of India in the years 1983, 2010 and 2016.
