The Ramakrishna Mission Blind Boys’ Academy is dedicated to the education, rehabilitation and empowerment of visually impaired children, helping them grow into confident, self-reliant, and responsible members of society.

Inspired by the ideals of Swami Vivekananda, the Academy believes that every child is a precious creation of God endowed with immense inner strength and potential. Our vision is to provide an environment of love, dignity, discipline, and holistic education where students can overcome limitations and discover their true capabilities.

The Academy strives for the complete rehabilitation and mainstreaming of visually impaired students through quality education, character-building, vocational training, cultural development, and value-based living. Along with academic excellence, special emphasis is laid on self-confidence, independence, moral values, life skills, and social integration so that every student may lead a life of dignity and contribute meaningfully to society.
