The general conception of the common people is that all the blind persons cannot see at all. But there are a good number of blind persons who can see the objects partly and enlarged letters. According to the medical parametre they are also visually impaired. A Low Vision Centre and Clinic was started to assess the functional vision and prescribe and supply suitable Low Vision aids for improvements of quality of life of the low vision children.
